Freecast Inc-a (CAST) Quarterly Institutional 13F Update (Q2 2026)

FreeCast, Inc. (ticker: CAST) disclosed on July 17, 2026 that its board voted to expand from three to four directors and immediately appointed Eric Seidel as a new director. Seidel, 62, is a tech entrepreneur and former public-company CEO who co-founded AI platform Kinloom and previously led Web-Est and eAutoclaims. Because Nasdaq requires at least three independent audit committee members and FreeCast is still in its phase-in period, Seidel was also named the second member of the audit committee.

FreeCast (ticker: CAST) raised approximately $23.7 million through a private placement of common stock and pre-funded warrants, which closed on July 2, 2026. The company entered into a Securities Purchase Agreement with investors, and the proceeds will be used for working capital and general corporate purposes. The pre-funded warrants are exercisable immediately and do not expire, but are subject to shareholder approval under Nasdaq rules.
