NVIDIA has announced that Ajay K. Puri, its Executive Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations, will retire once his successor starts. The company has appointed Nicholas Parker, a 26-year Microsoft veteran, to replace him. Parker is expected to start on August 24, 2026, and will receive a compensation package that includes a $1 million base salary, a $5 million sign-on bonus, $35 million in restricted stock units (vesting over four years), and $5 million in performance-based stock units tied to NVIDIA's total shareholder return relative to the S&P 500.

NVIDIA's 2026 annual meeting on June 24 saw seven proposals go to a vote. All ten board nominees were elected. Shareholders approved the compensation of top executives in an advisory vote, ratified PwC as the company's auditor, and voted to replace the supermajority voting requirement with a simple majority. Three shareholder-led proposals—on faith-based groups, civil rights and non-discrimination related to DEI, and greenhouse gas emissions—were voted down.
